Finally something is going right

I made FCCLA officer!! I am so excited, I get sworn in next week at the end of the year banquet. Then meetings and everything start the next week. I am just excited that something i wanted to do actually turned out how i expected it to.

This weekend i went to girls pref. The theme was jungle. it was a blast. I went with my friend Tanner. For our day activity we went to a park and had a picnic, played softball, and the best part of all we had a paint and flour fight. It was so much fun. We went to my friend amber's house for dinner. He mom cooked, she made this delicious chicken and rice stuff. We played human rubberband. Then we went and partied it up at the dance. After the dance we went to see the last song. It was the only movie playing after 10 pm at Jordan Commons. You would think that they would realize that it is a saturday night and that people might want to go see a late movie. well that is the dance in a nut shell. it was fun :)

Girls Pref

Our last school dance is coming up and i am going. The guy i really wanted to ask got asked so i had to ask another friend. His name is Tanner. I am excited. I was going to ask him by putting a real baby chick in a box and say "this chick wants to go to the dance with you!" but i had a issue. IFA only sells chicks in sixes. So i just put peeps, chocolate chickens, and confetti eggs in a box and said "this chick want to go the the dance with you!". He answered me back by putting a box full of blue m&m's on my porch. There was a not on it that said "Roses are red, M&M's are blue, If you find another color, I'll go with you" There was a red m&m in it too :). I will defiantly be posting after the dance. It is on April 24th and is a Jungle theme. I am excited.

FCCLA State

This FCCLA competition was in Layton. It was really fun. We got up there on Wednesday and competed. Then we went to the hotel and hung for a while. Dinner at Chili's then off to the dance. That was so much fun! The next day was just the award ceremony. Silver baby!! :) so i have been asked to tell ya'll what i did.
I did an event canlled Life Event Planning. Basically we got to do anything we wanted to do. We had to plan some event. It could have been anything like a party, what you will do after high school, anything. I chose to plan for a little girl that my "aunt" was adopting. I just found a lot of stuff at pottery barn and put together a room. It was fun and obviously it was decent cuz we won a silver.
I have decided that i am going to sign up and do the interview to be a officer for FCCLA next year. I think i would be good for me.
